Meet the Instructor: Claire Carpenter
May 02, 2022Hi! I'm a homeschooling mom to two busy kiddos and currently teach handicrafts and high school literature at our homeschool co-op. I went to college on an art scholarship but ended up focusing on writing. In fact, I used to teach literature and writing at a university! But I never stopped creating. I simply had to be creative, whether it was drawing, sewing, knitting, crocheting, or embroidering. And then in 2020, I rediscovered my long-lost love for PAINTING. Now, I paint and play with art supplies every chance I get! When I'm in my little studio, I like to listen to podcasts all about history. I can never get enough of learning.
I'm excited to pass on my love for all things ART with students and show them that absolutely anyone can learn the skills to create the art they see in their minds!
